The “Foundation” of David S. Goyer’s science fiction series renewed for the second season by Apple –

I’m incredibly biased when it comes to my love of David S. Goyer’s writings: whether it’s his important contributions to the film Dark city or his impressive interpretation of the Justice Society of America (never to be surpassed, IMHO), this scribe has informed much of my pop culture consumption over the decades. With this little warning from my foam fandom in my mouth for everything this gentleman does, it was with a smile on my face that I heard the news from our compatriots at Hollywood journalist this epic of eight seasons projected by Goyer Foundation has just been renewed for a second season by the Apple streaming platform.

No, Foundation Has nothing to do with Revlon Where Mary kay, but rather it’s a clever, fast-paced, and engaging story based on literary giant Isaac Asimov’s trilogy of novels about four very important people who transcend the fabric of space and time itself, while also fighting and overcoming pretty serious stuff, including complicated relationships and ever-shifting loyalties that will ultimately determine the final fate of all of humanity.

Goyer issued a press release on the renewal of season two, saying that “Since I was a child, I have dreamed of what Hari Seldon and Eto Demerzel would look like – what Terminus and Trantor would look like. Now, with season two, our audiences will be able to visit more of Asimov’s indelible characters and worlds, including Hober Mallow, General Bel Riose, and all of the Outer Suns. I’m delighted that a whole new generation of fans is reading Asimov’s brilliant masterpiece. We’re playing the long game with Foundation and I thank my partners at Apple and Skydance for entrusting me with this epic. Buckle up. We are about to fold some serious space.

About “long game” Goyer’s comment: The writer promised that Foundation is similar to Lost in that there is a definitive beginning, middle and end, all obviously dictated by Asimov’s three novels. In a world that feels less and less substantial and more and more short-term, it is indeed a breath of fresh air to afford an antidote for one of the 21st The least attractive aspects of the century.

You want to check Foundation? So head over to Apple Streaming and take a peek now, dear and constant reader. In the meantime, congratulations to Mr. Goyer on the return of season two – here are at least six more!
